caja-actions-dev software package provides Caja extension to create custom actions (development files), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install caja-actions-dev
caja-actions-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the caja-actions-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep caja-actions-dev *
You will get with caja-actions-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
